Our office was designed to maximize patient comfort, clinical space and operational efficiency. The space was designed by Dr. Shah and Paul Meyer Architects to utilize a ‘pod’ model for medical care. In this setting the physician works in the same area as the clinical support staff. By moving the physician from his or her office and into the ‘trenches’ we have been able to deliver care more effectively by reducing tasked messages, improving time-to-resolution of patient queries, and improving staff communication and camaraderie.
Amenities of our office include:
- 10-12 foot ceilings with diffusing privacy film to allow for natural light in every exam room while maintaining patient privacy
- Spacious major procedure rooms where family/caregivers can be present in the room but separated by a curtain during procedures
- A coffee bar serving regular/decaf coffee, a variety of hot teas, hot chocolate and cider in the winter
- Patient exam rooms with ADA-compliant height adjustable beds
